About Us

Fathers, sons, & grandsons working together makes three generations of the Hahn family that comprise Phil Hahn & Associates Realtors & Auctioneers. Roger Hahn began his auction company in 1964. Four years later his son, Phil, began working with him. In 1972, Phil decided to go into the real estate business and in 1979 partnered with Shari Chapman to form their realty company. At a later date, Phil bought the business from Shari and in 1988 it became Hahn Realty. In 1993, his dad’s auction business and the realty joined hands which now are Phil Hahn & Associates Realtors & Auctioneers.

Phil’s wife, Karen, is also a realtor and a broker in the real estate side of the company. Phil’s son, Jason Hahn, joined Phil and Karen ten years ago as both a realtor and an auctioneer.

The auction side of the business is also joined by Gene Robinson, Brian Wuthrich, & Jon Stepp. Both Brian & Jon are also realtors just like Jason. The four men can cross over to either side of the business. Roger Hahn, at 79 years young, is still actively working his craft. The auctioneers work in the Midwest area using Nappanee as their home base. They perform a variety of the auctioneering services; estate sales, real estate, personal property, industrial & manufacturing close outs, farm equipment and machinery are some of the types of auctions Hahn will perform.

On the real estate side of the company, Laurie Sumpter also joins in showing and selling properties. Brandi Kitson is the newest realtor to the team. Jill Shields is the office manager for both businesses.

Phil Hahn & Associates basically covers the Nappanee, Wakarusa, Milford, and New Paris areas. As far as Nappanee is concerned, they are the only home base realtors in town! The Hahn’s feel this unique niche is an asset to their clients.
